Dagexcursie naar Cachi!

Vanmorgen al om zeven uur met de bus vertrokken, na al die steden eindelijk de Andes in en het platteland met adobeconstructies! Zelfs een pas van ruim 3300m gerond, we kwamen er nog een Nederlandse fietser tegen, schitterende geologische formaties, vooral sedimentair met rood (ijzer), groen (koper) en geel (calcium). Uitgebreide stop in Cachi gehad, is Qeuchua dus Incataal voor zout, er ligt hier niet al te ver vandaan op zo´n 250km een grote salina (zoutmeer). I have to disappoint Peter, lomo Argentina is simply the best in the world, raised by gauchos on the pampas nothing beats this quality, the Hereford at Kandinsky´s cannot stand in it´s shade... Hope you and Joanna will have a wonderful, well deserved stay on Tenerife. Cachi sounds most impressive. I look forward to seeing the photos that you have taken from here.
We are leaving at 2.00 am this morning with "Switchback".
We are looking forward to our trip.
Keep having an exciting adventure and I will keep in touch from Tenerife if I can access internet there,which I am sure should be no problem.
